Resort 2018

There are certain collections that have always resonated with the Janie & Jack customer. One of those is our crisp, palette-cleansing black & white Resort delivery. In the spirit of high end womenswear design houses, this collection usually has an element of transitional, maybe even nautical undertones. However in 2017, the proliferation of athleisure was everywhere. I decided to incorporate this nod to sporty through track pant inspired stripes and the fashion version of a golfer’s vest. When paired with ladylike tweeds, pearls, and oversized floral corsages, the resulting look was fun, unexpected, and modern.
