Fall 2018

Every year, Janie & Jack customers fall for one of our many Equestrian-inspired groups. In 2018, we decided to go less traditional, mixing in elements of collegiate styling (which was very popular at the time). I designed the silhouettes to be more feminine boho than literal jockey costume for further evolution. The horse icon was no longer the star, but more of a subtle print on silky fashion-forward dresses, giving the collection a more sophisticated tone. By introducing new fabrics like shearling, mixed in with charmeuse and flannel wool, each outfit was a beautiful mix of dimension and texture.
